Ever wonder about the cute pup behind some of our insta-pictures and stories? He's a vital part of our team too! Ollie is Tania's dog. He never fails to greet us as soon as we get into the office and you can always count on his tail to be wagging. He's positive at all times, curious as can be and is always ready for adventure. Most of all, Ollie gives unconditional kisses and and loves to be wherever the team is!

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF.

My name is Oliver Pedro Bean but my friends call me Ollie. I'm turning 3 years old in October. I'm from Mexico but my siblings and I moved to Vancouver when we were little. In Mexico my name was Pedro. Now it's my middle name! They also call me bean because I gallop and hop around like a jumping bean. Why do people have so many names?

WHAT KIND OF DOG ARE YOU?

I think I'm a beagle, spaniel, dachshund and chihuahua. People say they can see all of those in me!  

HOW DID YOU BECOME A PART OF THE OLIVE + PIPER TEAM?

They were hiring and Tania came to see me a few times when I was hanging out with my friends. I wanted to be on my best behavior so I smiled a lot, hopped around and wagged my tail as hard as I could! Once she picked me, I had to go through intensive training before I could work with the rest of the team!

WHAT DO YOU DO AT OLIVE + PIPER?

Lots of things! I'm the Chief Pet Officer and my duties include greeting everyone that comes, acting in our instagram stories, modeling jewelry, sniffing our packages and delivery people, knowing where everyone in the office is at all times and making Tania clean up after me (especially when I take a walk!). I also sleep at the office because I like to make sure the jewels are safe. It also makes me look like a good employee because I'm always there. :)

WHAT'S A TYPICAL DAY LIKE?

I wake up really early around 6am and I go into Tania's room to check on her. She's usually sleeping still - what a lazy bum! Then I like to sit on the couch and look out the window - this is when I meditate and reflect. When the humans finally get up, I take them for a walk and usually bump into my friends. The rest of the day I sleep, model, sleep, act, walk around the office and make sure everyone is working hard! 

FAVORITE PIECE OF JEWELRY?

My blue necklace! Sometimes I hear people call it a collar??
