Sweet Summer Dessert: Rasberry Yogurt Popsicles

It may be full on bikini season, but there's no way this girl's going to be denied to eat.  Whip up this easy-peasy (and can we get bonus points for healthy?) rasberry yogurt popsicle recipe to satisfy the sweet tooth and keep the hot bod cool.  This yummy recipe makes 10 servings, enough to share with pool-side friends.  But then again, we won't tell anyone if you find them so good that you end up saving them all for yourself.  

 

- Ingredients & Tools:

1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt

1 ripe banana

3 cups raspberries or your choice of seasonal berries (fresh or frozen)

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/8 cup water

Blender

Medium bowl

Popsicle mold (Serving: 10x 2oz popsicles, or 6x large popsicles)

- How to Make it:

Combine yogurt and banana in blender and blend until texture is smooth.  Set aside mixture in bowl.  Do the same with raspberries, lemon juice, and water in blender.  Pour yogurt mixture with the rasberry mixture in alternating layers intopopsicle mold.  Give each popsicle a final quick and gentle stir before inserting holders/sticks.  Place in freezer for 6 hours or until completely frozen.  Enjoy!
